Yesterday I went up into the mountains to hike where I have never gone before. nIt was so beautiful, still pretty green, a few wildflowers and single track which is my favorite. Very steep hiking, lots of switchbacks and very few flat stretches. Trekked a little over four miles with a new hiking friend Annie. Great conversations and the miles went by very fast. The mountains in my backyard are just gorgeous and we will definitely go back for a much longer hike soon.
