First gallery of this years amazing trip to Alaska with my Son Justin. Last year we went and Justin said " I sure hope we see some moose this year, Dad" and we saw so many they were coming right up to the cabin. We spent the first couple of days in Anchorage and of course the first day we hit a world renown disc golf course where Justin played 18 holes, we walked about nine miles and I of course made photos. We went up to this viewing area outside of Anchorage called Flat Top, where on a clear day you can see Denali (Mt. McKinley, the highest mountain in North America) from about 145 miles away, but it wasnt clear on any of the three times we went up there in two days. It was however stunning and very cold. Justin also spent a day with a fishing guide floating down the Kasilof fishing for King Salmon on the first day salmon season for King opened. We picked up Bruce and Jane, who are friends that own the cabin near Homer and drove the 200 miles South to Fritz Creek to their cabin.,We spent the next 12 says off and on in Fritz Creek, Homer and the surrounding area. We also drove up to Seward for a couple of days there. Stay tuned for more amazing adventures.
