Justin and I decided to go to an area that he had never hiked at before, and I had only made the first mile on the trail once before. It was a chilly and very cloudy day, almost gloomy, but any day hiking to me is beautiful. We set out amongst brilliant fields of mustard with many flowers of differing colors interspersed for our eyes to feast on. We didn't see any other trekkers until we were almost back at the trailhead, about three hours later! It was a beautiful hike around the lake, with many breathtaking vistas to behold. The best part was I got to share this day with Justin. If you find the time, get out there into the wilderness and enjoy some fresh air, the beauty of nature, and a healthy exercise.
