Robots is one of those spots than can excellent one day and crappy the next day, or for that matter it can change in just an hour or two as well. This particular day, I met up with some friends; The Knowles Brothers, Walt Cerny, Dave Steiner, Wilbur Ur, Neal Brady and a cast of about twenty others. The swell was up and the biggest sets were closing out, but the medium and smaller ones had great shape. There were a few scattered barrels thrown in to spice things up. The wind was very good for a few hours and then turned, and made the waves crumbly and not so photogenic. This spot never lets me down when there is swell. All in all I had a wonderful time, was surrounded with great surfing, good sunshine and a very happy vibe. Remember my motto; "Stay Stoked, and Stay Forever Young." ..... Da Lieb
