1. Daily Session

June 25th. 2018

Solstice 2018. The annual Solstice day parade takes place in Santa Barbara, and Shirley and I atteneded this year together. The city basically closes off all of downtown State Street and every year about 100,00 people line the streets to watch the pagentry, crazy costumes and floats, and enjoy the very colorful parade, which usually last about an hour. We, once again were treated to front row seats with the Bissell family and friends, and my thanks go out to Anna and Steve for all the courtesy they have shown me over all these years. This years parade was no let down. There were many paraders, floats and basically pandemonium on State Street. Everyone was lauging, there was all types of music with each float. I would guess the ages of those paraders ranged from three years to elderly people all dressed out in Crazy costumes. It is really a fun day, and the colors, textures, sounds and pagentry is really what I look forward too. I hope you enjoy looking at these photos, and remember my motto: "Stay Stoked, and Stay Forever Young." Da Lieb
