This gallery continues our walk acrossm Spain. We probably walked through a couple hundred thousand year old villages that were just amazing. I sorta got intrigued with all the old doors and windows. The Northern part of Spain is veryy mountainous and presented us daily with many exciting challenges. Trekking with a twenty pound backpack also presented its own set of pains! Shirley absolutely amazed me on a daily basis with her ability to pop out of bed, throw on her pack and walk all day. During the day we treated ourselves to hard candies and usually a choclate bar, which was heavenly! We had so many unusual and delicious meals I cant even begin to describe them. However we did eat very well, and in sorta massive quanities as our bodies were burning up the calories as fast as we replenished them. And with that all said we Both lost weight! It was really thilling to see all the stork nests and the parents tending to their newly born babies. They are HUGE birds! This gallery ends in the village of Calzadilla de Los Hermanos.
