This is my final gallery from our trip to Spain to walk the Camino. Our walk ended on my birthday May 25th. in Sarria Spain. We took the train from Sarria to Santiago de Compestella which has been the "Pilgrims" destination for thousands of years. Santiago is so full of trekkers of every type and age from all ends of the earth. Its a meeting place, a final destination and place of celebration for most Pilgrims. Some walk onto Finestier, at the Alantic Ocean, to burn their clothes, packs and celebrate making to the "End of the Earth." We didn't do that as we only had two days in Santiago before boarding a plane for our last destination of Dublin Ireland. I could use the old cliche and say that this journey was life changing....and....it was! Shirley and I saw so many beautiful vistas, climbed amazing mountains, walked through too many to count really old villages, a few wonderfullly vibrant large cities, enjoyed some of the most amazing meals in the most uncommon places, met wonderful like minded souls trekking, slept in a different bed almost every night and thourghly enjoyed being together for six weeks doing all of this as a couple. As I said earlier, our last stop was Dublin, so stay tuned for a beautiful gallery from "The Emerald Isle." And remember my motto: "Stay Stoked, and Stay Forever Young." Da Lieb
