Met up with Walter Cerny, Ryan Allshouse, David Curry, Braden "The Grom" Jones and Daron Mafi at Veggies. Its called Veggies, because, as the story goes, there used to be this Mate, named Colin Queensland that moved here from Down Under, and was always getting his Vegamite in the mail and trying to share it with all his new found "Blokes." The boys all tried it, and rejected it, but Colin was accepted and became one of the boys. He would always bring that crap down the beach to this particular spot, hence the name Veggies. The waves this day were running down the beach very fast against a hellish current making for some real nice tubes, and plenty of ramps for the Boys to launch off. The wind was offshore, the air clear and the sun amazing, so needless to say I was tickled pink and shot tons of images.
