Last week Shirley and I went on two amazing hikes together. The first one was out in the country, in an area that was along a creek, filled with beautiful vistas, many Deer and complete solitude, peace and quiet. The hike meandered along the creek for a couple of miles until we ran out of or lost sight of the trail, so headed back up onto the road and walked for a while, before heading back to the car. The air was so clean, crisp and clear that it was stunning. We saw three different families of adult and baby deer just grazing, a bunch of cows and horses, truly a beautiful Country experience. Our second hike was quite long. It was over seven miles along the wild coast, where many of the beaches we combed for shell, rocks and other neat things, had no footprints on them other than ours! Shirley and I scored so many cool things for some upcoming mosaic projects that Shirley is about to embark on. Some of the trails ascending and descending the beaches were a bit technical, but we made it all happen, although I must admit a couple of them were a bit scary! When we both ran out of water in our hydration packs, we figured it was time to trek back to the car, where we had reserves. After we re-hydrated, we were both were hungry so we went to a taco shop where they serve Mexican Fusion cuisine, and one taco can feed a family of four!! We have never eaten there before, so we each, of course ordered a taco each, which filled my stomach for three days!!! I am SO lucky to have a partner that has enlightened me to the benefits of exercise, eating healthy and a pathway to better health and happiness, plus she loves Tacos's!!! So, remember my motto: "Stay Stoked, and Stay Forever Young." Da Lieb
