There are certain times of the Winter when I will make the long drive to Iceplants. The wind has to be offshore and the swell needs to be just right. It is a long and ardous hike through sand dunes to get to the coast, so I really check the charts before I strap on my fifty pound pack and trek in.This session was worth it. I only expected to make line up shots, but was surprised to see some Surfers had also trekked in. I don't know any of the names, but the waves sure were pretty.
