Every year there is an event called "Kids Day at the Park." Its pretty much geared towards kids...of all ages! They have had cars in the past, but not like this year. Usually its just a few, but there were almost a hundred cars on display for this years event. I hope it stays like that because there were some beauties, and all the owners were excited and ready to talk story about their autos.
On the other side of the park, there were food, crafters and vendors of all kinds, along with rides, music, face painting, animals, clowns, a fishing derby and basically hundreds of folks enjoying the beautiful weather and free event for the Keiki's!
It was super hot, so after a couple of hours shooting, I broke out my camp chair, found a really cool shaded place on the grass and just kicked back and enjoyed the music and laughter of all the kids. Justin was also there, and after a cool down period for both of us, we went out and had a great lunch (at an air conditioned ) restaurant!
