Some longtime friends Barb and Jer emailed me the other night and said there were about 5 Humpbacks around and being very playful, which is always nice, so I jambed up the coast for and hour or so to the playground. When I first got there, I didn't see one "Humpy" for over an hour, and was almost ready to go to some other location and try and find them, which can be a "Wild Humpback Chase" that I wasn't really looking forward to. But then I heard this women scream that old sailors lament "Thar She Blows" and my luck changed.
In a very short time there were at least two or three adults and one juvenile playing in the cove. Eating copies amounts of fish, and putting on a pretty good show for the few of us that were out on the Pier yesterday. I hung around for about 4-5 hours throughly enjoying being close to these beautiful creatures and watching them cruise around without a worry.
So once again, I reiterate "Stay Stoked, and Stay Forever Young" .... Da Lieb
